In 2018 Supervision Central will once again be offering its individually focused 40-hour course for counsellors wishing to complete the academic requirement to become a PACFA or ACA accredited supervisor. Participation in each course is limited to a maximum of eight registrants, so enrol early. The course will be facilitated by Dr Graham Barker of Supervision Central.
The forty hours will include but not limited to:
• The roles and function of supervision
• The major supervision models
• The developmental stages of counsellors and supervisors
• The supervision process
• The primary principles that underscore supervision
• Essential ethics and key issues in supervision.
This programme includes two assessment exercises to comply with PACFA requirements. All sessions will be facilitated by Dr Graham Barker who has developed this course based on identified best practice and his 25 years of supervising students, counsellors and psychologists.
All materials, morning and afternoon teas provided.
Dates: Friday 24th – Saturday 25thth August 9am-5pm
Friday 26th – Saturday 27th October 9am-5pm
Saturday 10th November 9am-5pm
Cost: $1100.00 (GST included)
